Spring Cleaning Hacks

Should you feel that your household chores are taking forever to complete, do not panic. You probably need to do something about it. Good cleaning hacks will utilize simple household items and will only take a few minutes to get your chores done.  There are various cleaning hacks you can take on. The most common being house and carpet cleaning hacks. Read through the suggestions outlined below to improve your routine.

 

 

 

  • A combination of baking soda and vinegar can be used to clean the oven. This will save both the time and money to purchase expensive cleaners.

  • To clean your coffee pot run 1 part vinegar + 1 part water through a brew cycle.

  • In case you got paint on your clothes during an art’s project or even your latest renovation, you can simply remove it with a razor!

  • It’s rather risky to wash chopping boards using harmful chemicals. Instead, kosher salt and lemons is a safer alternative.

  • A 50-50 mixture of water and vinegar can perfectly wash your blinds. You’ll also need an old cloth to wipe off the mixture.

  • Applying some chalk on clothes with grease stains prior to washing them removes the stains more effectively.

  • Broken glass can be picked up by pressing a piece of bread on it.

  • Did you know that newspapers actually absorbs smell in the fridge? Try the magic!

  • Baking soda can also be used to get rid of odor as well as absorb oil stains on carpets.

  • In case you’ve bought a new toothbrush, don’t throw away the old one. You can actually use it to remove dust and crumbs stuck in between your desktop’s keyboard.

  • In case of grease stains on your garage floor, you can get rid of it using soda.

  • Line refrigerator shelves with Glad press 'n seal wrap to make cleaning up spills easier.

  • Tape a dryer sheet over an air conditioner vent to freshen up the room.

  • Rubbing lemons on faucets removes water stains!

  • A hairdryer can be used to get rid of water patches on wooden surfaces.

  • In case of stubborn pet hairs, run a squeegee across the carpet top. This also works perfectly on fabric furniture along with car seats.
